Whether you run a busy salon, work solo, teach or mentor others, operate from home or on the move, or support clients through holistic services, Salonpreneur Magazine is for professionals who are already good at what they do, but quietly feel the weight of running a business without ever having been shown how all the pieces fit together.
It’s for those who feel confident with clients, yet less certain when it comes to planning, decisions, money, or what to focus on next. Not because they’re failing, but because they’ve been carrying too much on their own.
Salonpreneur Magazine focuses on the areas that most often create mental load if left unsupported:
* Business clarity and structure
* Realistic, sustainable strategies
* Personal development and mindset
* Professional confidence and boundaries
* Wellbeing for the person behind the business
Each edition brings together grounded insights and support from experienced salon owners, educators, business specialists, mentors, and wellbeing professionals, all sharing what genuinely helps over time.
Unlike traditional trade magazines, Salonpreneur doesn’t chase trends or new products. It shines a light on the real business understanding and perspective that helps capable professionals feel steadier, more confident, and less alone as they grow.
This is a place to pause, learn, and build clarity, without pressure, judgement, or hype.

Salonpreneur Magazine was founded by Sue Davies, industry veteran and award winning salon professional. One of the main philosophies behind Salonpreneur Magazine is #LeaveTheLadderDown and this shown through the concept of Collaborative Columnists which provides a platform for experts and specialists to benefit all involved. When those on a new or unclear pathway reach up, those above with the knowledge or information will hold their hand out to help.
Salonpreneur Magazine brings together the power of the collective and we have a team of Collaborative Columnists who come together to share their knowledge. Names from within the salon industry and from the world of business who share their thoughts, advice and guidance in their regular columns.
